the box office will open one hour before gates open, and is located next to the main entrance
There is NO re-entry to the festival of any kind, regardless of ticket type. If you exit the venue for any reason, you will have to purchase a ticket to re-enter.
PRIME FESTIVAL is an all-ages event
No outside food or beverage with the exception of one factory-sealed bottle of water per person
No lawn chairs
No weapons of any kind, including pocket knives, wallet chains, mace. These items cannot be checked-in at Guest Services.
No glass bottles or cans
No skateboards or in-line skates
No baby strollers
No professional cameras (those with a detachable lens), video and audio recording devices (including GoPros or tablets)
No selfie sticks
No hula hoops
No glow sticks
No smoking other than in designated smoking areas
No sunscreen or bug spray (both will be available at Guest Services)
One factory-sealed bottle of water per guest (maximum size of one liter)
Pocketbooks, purses, and handbags
Portable cell phone charger stick
Empty Hydration packs
PRIME FESTIVAL is rain or shine. In the event of rain and non-severe weather, the festival will continue as planned. In the event of severe weather (including lightning, high winds, tornado, etc), under the direction of local authorities and venue policies to ensure the safety of all patrons, the festival may be postponed until weather passes with no refunds. Should severe weather be present in the area, announcements will be made from the Main Stage PA system. All advertised artists are confirmed to perform, but sometimes the weather does not permit travel to Grand Rapids or set times may be postponed. In this instance, performing artists are subject to change without notice. Follow us on social media for the latest updates and news.
FOOD & DRINKS
We will have plenty of food vendors serving delicious food all day, as well as plenty of bars serving non-alcoholic beverages in addition to beer and liquor for those 21+
What forms of ID are acceptable?
Valid driver's licenses, passports, military IDs, and other government-issued picture IDs are accepted.
Do I need my ID?
If you purchased a ticket through Ticketmaster, it is not required to bring your ID, but it is recommended in case there is an issue with your tickets and the staff needs to look up your order. *If you purchased a ticket through Eventbrite, you'll need to bring your ID and proof of purchase to the box office to pick up your ticket to get scanned into the venue*. You will need your ID if you are 21+ and wish to purchase alcohol.
If I bought a ticket through Eventbrite, how do I get into the festival?
You will need to bring your ID and proof of purchase to the Red Hat Amphitheater box office to pick up your ticket to get scanned into the venue. Please note that you are NOT able to transfer tickets bought through Eventbrite. The name on your tickets must be the name that you will use to pick up your tickets at the box office.
If I bought a physical ticket or ticket online at Ticketmaster, how do I get into the festival?
You will need to print your ticket OR download it to your mobile device to get scanned in at the venue gtes.
Can I upgrade to VIP?
VIP Upgrades MAY be available at the box office, subject to availability.
Where can I park?
There isn't a specific parking garage, but since the venue is in the city, any public deck or street-level parking is available to use.
